Science Fair

Emily had to do a project for the science fair at school and we saved for last wkd.(sidenote: Now in school the Science fair is considered non-competitive and there are no ribbons awarded because this could lower kids self esteem. Those who know me, know that I "do" self-esteem for a living yet I find this ridiculous! What is so wrong with teaching our kids the importance of working hard for something and having it recognized! Alright rant over) Anyways, I was so proud of Emily because she involved all of her siblings and in doing so we had a great time. The project itself was simple-the presentation looked great! Here are a few of the pics. we included on the tri-fold.

My Funny Valentines

So Judah had his 1st Valentine Party at school today...I had to work, but he saved me a huge cookie he had decorated. He was very excited with all of his "coupons" from his friends :) John-John's party is not until Friday, but he brought home a suprise today that he had made for me. He promptly hid it when we got home and waited almost a full 30min. before gifting it to me :) What good boys!!!

Unpacking... ugh!

So we had made such good strides BEFORE we moved in officially to be unpacked and settled, but now that we are sleeping in the new house.....yea the motivation has taken a hike. The kids are all loving their new rooms- so I realized something really funny- all of our kids' rooms are Stampin' Up in-colors. Okay, to some of you that will mean nothing, but to my scrapbooking pals- isn't that hilarious?! I'll try to post picks, but lil boys room is pacific point, Em's is pink pirouette, and big boys is tangerine tango. Well of course they are not REALLY those colors but they look awfully close. Alright, I'm off to unpack now. Ugh.

WE MOVED

Well after a busy weeknd of moving the family is finally settling into the new house. We bought a house just down the street from the house that we were renting so the kids stay in the same schools and keep the same friends. While the move was easy on some it was harder on others. Ronica had to finaly cut the cord and move Judah (the baby of the bunch) to his own big boy room with his older brother John. The first night in his room Judah was a champ sleeping through the night. Mom wasn't so lucky waking up to every sound knowing that it must be Judah needing her.
